Shirley L. Geiger

Shirley L. Geiger, age 76 of Kettering, passed away June 14, 2017. She was born September 1, 1940 in Dayton to the late Sam and Anna Evanoff. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Fields; and nephew, Michael Jenkins.

Shirley is survived by her children: Daniel, Ronald, David and Lynnette Geiger; nieces: Cheryl Teer, Cathy Conley, Sandra Bond and Brenda Jenkins; nephew, Ricky Bond; great-nieces and great-nephews: Stephanie Golden, Christopher Connors, Daniel Hamilton, Kelly Hamilton, Katie Finley and Heather Phelps.

Shirley was an employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for many years.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial to follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon. Contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to the American Cancer Society.
