On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Shirley Ann Fugate, loving mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 88. She was known for her generosity, love for animals, and green thumb.
Shirley was born November 18, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents: Royston and Julia; siblings: John, Jim, Jerry, Joe, Glen, and Barbara. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Hall (Don); sister, Linda Ison; grandchildren: Lisa Castor (Ty), Sherry Couch (Darren), Dave Hall (Shannon); great-grandchildren: Teia Castor, Chris Castor, Raina Couch, Logan Hall, Noah Couch, Ethan Couch; great-grandchildren: Emma Robertson and Levi Robertson; nieces and nephews, Kristine Ison, Jerry Ison, Joe Hobbs and many more.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 5:00pm.
