Shirley F. Thomas

THOMAS, Shirley F., age 70, of Miamisburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 27, 2008. She was born February 10, 1938, in Covington, KY, to the late Earl & Ruth Lyons. She was preceded in death by her step father Charles Dashley and her sister Carol Lyons. Shirley is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert L. Thomas; children Sherry (David) Rang and Judith (Dave) Johnson; and her beloved cats. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, good friend and homemaker. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 3 5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The funeral service will be held Monday, January 5, 2009 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In memory of Shirley contributions may be made to the animal charity of your choice.
