Shirley Carol "Sis" Boggs

Shirley Carol "Sis" Boggs, age 80, of Xenia, passed away November 2, 2024. Shirley was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 11, 1944 to the late Ellis and Margorie DeLong. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Charles, Robert and Everett DeLong. 

She is survived by husband of 60 years, Roy Boggs; daughter, Diane Dressler; grandson, Joshua (Ashley) Dressler; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Toby, Saddie and Charlie Dressler and her sister, Sue Eves. 

She was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Xenia for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her family.

Shirley's main devotion in life was serving the Lord. She was a beautiful woman who was selfless. Shirley was the love of Roy's life. 

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia.
