Shirley A. Tabor of Huber Heights, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2011.
She was born February 16, 1934 in Bluefield, West Virginia.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, June Harper and Edith Curtis; her daughter, Barbara Adkins; and her granddaughter, Catherine Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Maurice Tabor; her siblings Eddie (Jo) Peters, Ernie Tabor, and Carol (Carl) Nutter; her children Marcia (Tom) Johnson, Bill (Sheri) Tabor, Terri Tabor, and Randy (Joan) Tabor; her grandchildren Jessica (Bill) Houchins, Brenda (Alan) Ronnebaum, Brian (Jo) Perry, Tony Tabor, Rebecca Tabor, and Rachel Tabor; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was happiest at home with her husband, playing with her dogs Beenie and Danica, and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her family wishes to thank Hospice of Dayton for their care and support.
Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
