"Realizing the uncertainty of this life, with full confidence and trust in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who said in John 11:25, 26; 'I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die', I believe that he died for my sins on the cross and shed his blood for the atonement of my soul, and rose again from the dead, and I know that in my faith in his sacrifice on the cross for me, I have eternal life."
Shirley had the most giving heart and loved her friends and family dearly.
She was a missionary to South America and Mexico.
She had a special place in her heart for mistreated and abandoned animals, and rescued many of them.
