Shirley Ann Mattingly-Smith

MATTINGLY-SMITH, Shirley
age 71 of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 17, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Shirley was born January 14, 1935, the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy Thompson. She was a volunteer for the Victim Witness Program. Shirley is survived by her sons, Steven (Lynn) Haworth and Chris Haworth; granddaughters, Caroline and Christina; special friends, Connie Bysack, Alice and Don Bell, Carolyn and Dwayne Lemley, Sharon Banks, Debbie and Jeff Windle, Kathleen Roland, Dorothy Gordon, and Donna and Dick Tobin; and many more friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Cecil Smith. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Shirley's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
