Shirley A. Cross

CROSS, Shirley A., age 80, of Dayton, passed away March 23, 2013. She was born April 1, 1932 in Oskaloosa, IA, to the late Wilburn and Mabel Knox. Shirley was a member of the Nurses of the Veterans Administration where she served over 30 years as a registered nurse. She was an avid fisherman and loved playing golf and bridge. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Cross; daughter, Cheryl DeLaCroix; 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her oldest sister, Ida Gray; daughter, Michelle Parsons; sons, Patrick (Barb) Cross and Michael (Jude) Cross; 10 grandchildren, Timothy Cross, Nicholas Cross, Mark Cross, Tonia Carman, Jennifer Smith, Danelle Hatt, Eric Long, Sarah Lee, Christopher Cross, Jessica Strothoff; 15 great-grandchildren.
