Shirlee V. Benton, age 87, of Dayton, passed away on December 10, 2023. She was a retiree of General Motors after working there for over 30 years. She was also a long-time employee of Walmart in her retirement.
Shirlee enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and was an avid collector of antiques. She was also an animal lover and rescued many pets. She is survived by a grateful and loving family and many friends, who will miss her dearly. Nanny may now go rest high on that Mountain.
