Shirl Dale Livesay
January 14, 1934 — September 9, 2017
Livesay, Shirl Dale, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, age 83, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2017.
He was born January 14, 1934 in Jonesville, VA to the late Henry and Esther (Muncy) Livesay. Dale was a member of the First Baptist Church of Miamisburg , and was retired from GM/Delco Moraine after 43 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Livesay and Cecil Livesay and wife Mary.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Jewell (Long)Livesay; son, Timothy D. Livesay and wife, BJ; 2 grandsons, Zachary Livesay and wife, Katy, Jacob Livesay and wife, Carrie; great grandchildren, Thor Livesay, Kieran Stanberry, and Gabriel Stanberry. He is also survived by his brother, JD Livesay and wife, Norma; sisters-in-law, Rose Livesay, Ruby Adams, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Miamisburg 323 N. 11th St., Miamisburg, OH where funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Dale's memory.
