Sexton, Sherrill, age 92, of Miami Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Sherrill was born August 19, 1921 in Vicco, Kentucky to the late Sylvester & Ida Sexton. Sherrill was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran proudly serving during WWII.
Sherrill is survived by his sons and daguhters-in-law: Roger S. (Myrna) Sexton of Florida & Ronald D. (Patricia) Sexton of New Carlisle, Ohio; brother: LaDuel Sexton; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Mona Sexton; sisters: Nolda Mullins, Wanda Armstrong & Olga Turley; and half brother: Claude Venters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
