Sherra Cotton

Cotton, Sherra Jean, age 67, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born March 20, 1939 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Emil & Marjorie (Shook) Tomlinson. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband, Columbus Cotton. Survivors include her children, Melody Harmeyer of Huber Heights, Angie Cotton of Dayton, Gloria Cotton of Boston, MA, Teresa Kelley of Dayton, & Alicia (Jason) Pitman of Dayton; grandchildren, Arwen, Daniel, Emma, Jillian; sister, Dinah (Kenny) Thompson of Dayton; brother, Terry Tomlinson of Dayton; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; special friends, Elsie & Fran; her best furry friend, Sugar; and many other friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 PM until the time of services.
