Sherman Edward Mack, age 82, of Springboro, OH departed this life for his heavenly home on Friday, April 26, 2013.
Born to Theodore and Elizabeth Mack in Lynch, KY, he grew up in Dryden, VA. Ed was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He retired from Delco Moraine after 34 years of service and was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Margaret Mack; a brother, Joseph Mack, and a son, Edward Mack, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Myra Mack; 2 daughters, Cynthia Mack of Springboro, OH and Carlene (Tim) Williams of Franklin, OH; beloved grandson, Timothy Williams; a brother, Mandel Mack of Big Stone Gap, VA; and a sister, Helen Moore of Morristown, TN.
Visitation is Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Rd Dayton, OH 45459.
Pastor Terrell Hudson is officiating.
Interment is in Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH
