Shelby Ray Adkins

ADKINS, Shelby Ray age 73 of Jamestown, TN passed away January 24, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Lenar Adkins; five brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loma; children, Anthony "Tony" (Dawn) Adkins, Marty Adkins, and Trina (Mike) Champine; grandchildren, Raechel Adkins, Lauren Champine, and Kyle Champine; step-grandchildren, Steven Fryman and Kara Jobe; brother, Ridley Adkins; sister, Jean (Jerry) Parker; and by numerous other dear friends and family members.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore RD. Interment to follow at Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
