Sheila Ann Coots, age 71 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. She was born July 10, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Betty Mays. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, Gary Mays and Chuck Mays.
Sheila is survived by her son, Larry John Wooldridge Jr.; daughter, Amy Hecht; brother, Alan Mays; and her partner for life, Randall Reid. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Sheila enjoyed music and concerts, the casino, cruises, cooking and family get togethers. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. The most important thing to Sheila was her family. She is loved and will be deeply missed.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial for Sheila at this time.
