Shawn J. Grigley, age 44 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was born November 8, 1973 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Allen Phillips and Virginia Young.
Shawn was a Dayton native with an outgoing personality. A former student of the Trotwood-Madison school district.
He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Phillips; and grandmother, Josephine Lockett.
Shawn was the fourth child to Virginia (Grigley) Young and loving brother to Willie Grigley, Tracy (Anthony) Hughes, Johanna Grigley and Tomas Grigley. He leaves to mourn four children, Jaylynn Knipfer of Texas, Shatonna Grigley, Storm Grigley and Shawdell Grigley, all of Dayton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Way of the Cross Gospel Ministries (4801 Hoover Avenue, Dayton, OH 45417) .
