Shawn D. Jones

Shawn Douglas Jones, 37, left his wheelchair behind and walked into the arms of Jesus Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of Moraine. Shawn was a member of West Carrollton Assembly of God where he served on the worship team and assisted the youth pastor. Shawn is survived by his parents, Bill "Junior" and Debbie Jones of Moraine, his mother and step-father, Betty and Joe Kroger of Mason, sisters and brothers-in-law, Destiny and Jeff Billhimer of West Carrollton, Tracie and Scott Frantom of Sidney, Kristie and Garry Key of Kettering, grandparents, Bill and Mildred Jones of Crossville, TN, Virginia Wheeler of Bellbrook, Bill and Betty Wheeler of Bristol, TN, nephews and nieces, Brad, Kelli, Harley, Erica, Brittani, Kara, and Seth. He was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was blessed with the devoted friendship of Todd Davis and Dick Fowler. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM Monday, April 3rd at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.). Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 4th at the funeral home, Rev. Ken Duke, officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
