Sharon Sue Stacy

January 27, 1951 — September 17, 2022

Sharon Sue Stacy, age 71 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1951 in Hazard, Kentucky.


She is preceded in death by her father, Fred Stacy and mother, Effie Stacy; brother, Wesley Fred Stacy and niece, Melissa Rhoden.


Sharon is survived by her sister, Connie Rhoden; daughter; Danielle Jewell, Granddaughters; Madelyne Stacy Leigh Devers and Emma Jo Devers; and nephews Johnathan and Mathew Rhoden. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.


Sharon was a graduate from Sinclair Community College. From there she went to work at Kettering Medical Center where she started her career of 38 years as a RN. Sharon had a heart of gold, always helping others anyway she could. She was a beautiful soul with a love for life. She enjoyed shopping and fine dining, fishing and just being around her loved ones. The most important thing to Sharon was her family and enjoying holiday get togethers where the family often played trivia games. She is loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

The family hopes those who would like to honor her find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time. She will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery.
