Sharon K. Routzohn, age 77, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James & Evelyn Lois Ditmore (Vice).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Howard Ditmore, James Strozier; and her dear son, Brad Andrijiszyn.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles O. Routzohn. They were married in a small private church ceremony in Hilltop Lakes, Texas, on May 23, 1980. She is also survived by her daughter, Tanya (Tim) Dabe; and her stepson, Charles R. (Laura) Routzohn. Sharon was blessed with 5 wonderful grandchildren. She is survived by 3 granddaughters, Anna, Allison, and Abigail Dabe and 2 grandsons, Jacob and Noah (Jaden) Routzohn. Sharon is also survived by one brother, H. Neil Ditmore, of Louisville, Kentucky.
Sharon graduated from Butler High School in Shively, Kentucky, in 1959. She then went on to serve in the United States Air Force for 2 years and was stationed in Germany for part of her service. Sharon worked for K-Mart in Xenia for 8 years, where she served as the Human Resource Manager for most of those years. Sharon was a long time member of Eastern Star and a Lifetime Member of the VFW in Beavercreek, Ohio. She also helped her husband Charles with the Church Softball League here in Xenia for over 18 years. Sharon loved to volunteer, she served 4 years with the Greene County Parks with the Christmas Program. She also helped with the Bird program with the Ohio State Fair for 16 years and at many Ohio State Parks with their Nature IQ Programs for many children. Sharon served a total of 23 years as a volunteer with the Ohio State Parks. Sharon is a faithful member of the Xenia United Presbyterian Church.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 11:00am, at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Road, Xenia.
