Sharon Kay Munday

Sharon Kay Munday, born on November 15, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on November 2, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. Sharon’s life was a beautiful journey marked by her determined spirit and vibrant personality. She knew her mind and pursued her passions with unwavering focus.

Sharon was a dedicated professional, serving as a contract specialist for the government at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). She graduated from Jefferson Township High School and furthered her education by earning a Bachelor's Degree from Wright State University. Her commitment to excellence was evident throughout her career.

In her personal life, Sharon had a zest for entertainment, particularly enjoying horror movies and sitcoms on television, with favorites including The Walking Dead and Two and a Half Men. A true food enthusiast, she was a pasta connoisseur. Her warm and inviting nature made her home a cherished gathering place for many.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her loving family, which includes her daughter, Taryn Munday; her sister, Althea Jackson; her nephews, Bennie Jackson, Jordan Lowe, and Jevon Lowe; her best friends, Charlene Chattams, Elizabeth Hicks, Fay Taylor and Mary Petty; along with many more cousins, family, and friends who were fortunate to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and William S. Lowe Sr., and her brother, William Lowe Jr.

A visitation in remembrance of Sharon Kay Munday will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424, on November 8, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM.

Sharon's legacy of love, friendship, and unwavering resolve will continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.
