Sharon Louise Mcwhorter

Sharon Louise McWhorter, 76, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023. Loving mother of Dawn (Jennifer) McWhorter, adored sister of Gayle (James) Bradley, Helen (Guy) Williams and Steven Gevedon, cherished aunt of Stefanie (Gary) Williams, Sidney Williams, Kameron Williams, Craig Williams, Macei (Kenton) Williams, Jayden, Baileigh, Nolan) Tyler Walker, Ally Williams, (Eleanor), James (Lisa) Bradley, Zack (Kit) Bradley, John Bradley, Cindy (Mike) Wolek, Matthew Wolek, Sarah Wolek, John (Jenni) Bradley, Rylan, Kenley and Harlan Bradley. She is also survived by her good friends Sandy and Linda as well as other nieces and nephews and aunts and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Mary Gevedon.

Sharon spent her free time baking and playing her favorite computer games. She enjoyed the parties that they had at her residence at John Sale Manor. She loved hanging out with her neighbors, friends and the resident cats. Her favorite time was spent with her family.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Friday August 18, 2023 at 10:00 am with funeral service at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.
