Sharon Matthews

Sharon A. Matthews departed this life, Thursday, September 19, 2024. 

Sharon was the child of Ollie Matthews and Priscilla Matthews. She was born October 5, 1956, in Arlington, Texas. She attended and graduated from the Fairborn Baker High School in 1976. Sharon also attended Wright State University. She was a devoted parent, foster parent and a loving Grams.

Those who cherish her memory are her children, Da'Ron Aniton, wife Jeannette Aniton, Sarah Spidell, Benjamin Matthews and Braylee Stockton-Matthews; two grandchildren, Matthew Aniton and Olivia Spidell; one sister, Linda Corporal; a devoted niece, Ashley Corporal; Uncle Henry Sandifer; close cousins, Billy Sandifer, wife Betty Sandifer and their two sons, Mario Sandifer and Maurice Sandifer, Louise Harris and her son, Kevin Harris, Christine "Sista" Craig, William "Butch" Matthews, Albert Sandifer, wife, Sheila Sandifer; best friend, Charles Burns and all the relatives of the Matthews family, Sandifer family and all her close friends in Huber Heights and Fairborn. 

Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until time of service starting at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
