Sharon Landis

November 13, 1948 — July 20, 2021

Sharon Lynn Landis, age 72, of West Carrollton, passed away at her residence on July 20, 2021. She was born on November 13, 1948 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of Keith and Geraldine (Brumbly) Wray.

Sharon spent her working career as a small parts worker for Monsanto as well as selling cars for Tom Harrigan Chrysler-Jeep. When she wasn't working, she loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching football with her grandson and watching her granddaughter Lindsey compete in barrel racing riding her quarter horse and her painted pony. She also would spend time watching her great-grandson, Carter, ride his horse while being chased by his dog, Koda. Family was the center of Sharon's life. All her family would spend the holiday season baking cookies and making fudge. Sharon would remember every family birthday and would call her grandchildren and nephews on their birthday to sing 'Happy Birthday' to them on the telephone.

Sharon is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca "Becky" (Brian) Landis-Kinner of Farmersville, OH; granddaughter, Lindsey Landis of Farmersville, OH; grandson, Keith Kinner of Farmersville, OH; great-grandson, Carter Landis of Farmersville, OH; sister, Shelley (John)Penewit, Jr. of Bellbrook, OH; nephew, John Penewit, III; nephew, Joe Penewit; great-nephew, JC Penewit, IV; cousins, Eileen Smith and Donita Alexander; and many dear friends

Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Parent; and brother, Keith M. Wray.

A family gathering will be held on Sunday August 15, 2021 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the home of Sharon's sister, Shelley Penewit. Burial will take place at Bellbrook Cemetery at a later date.
