Sharon R. Jones

Sharon Rose Jones, age 75 of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born April 6, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ollie and Pauline Jefferson.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who was very dedicated to her family.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Jones in 1989; brother, Jessie Jefferson; and sisters, Shirley Rhoades and Barbara Gelder.

Sharon will be missed by her loving sons, Richard Allen (Cheryl) Jones, Christopher (Rachael) Jones and Tracy (Jennifer) Jones; grandchildren, Christopher, Ethan, Erin, Colleen, Baillie, Kaitlin and Brogan; great-grandson, Joseph; brother, Jerry (Lena) Jefferson; sisters, Wanda and Florene; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be planned for a later date. Sharon will be laid to rest next to her husband at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton.
