Sharon Denise Davis

Sharon Denise Davis, age 61, of Dayton, passed away October 16, 2023. She was born August 24, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Monie, Jr.; father, James Davis; aunt, Judith Jones; and close friend, Richard Smith.

Sharon is survived by her children: Elissa Monie and Raymond Barrett; grandchildren: Kennedi and Ma'Kayla Monie; mother, Regina Davis; brothers: Michael E. Davis and Tyrone J. Davis; half-sister, Aisha Myles (Antonio); aunt, Dr. Sara Black; dear friends: Tonya Whatley, Denese "Dee Dee" Cordell, Mary A. Smith, Ginette Ellis, Melanie Watkins and Angela McKenzie; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is also survived by her fur baby, Max Monie.

Sharon worked for the City of Dayton for more than 17 years. She attended Gods Lighthouse Community Church for 25 plus years. Sharon was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.
