Sharon Elizabeth Danforth passed away on February 1st, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born on April 21, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Sharon was a mother, wife, scholar, athlete, teacher, and dear friend to many. She graduated from the Ohio State University. She retired from Montgomery County as a teacher for students with severe behavior disorders. She loved to garden, golf, dance, volunteer, and tutor in her free time. She also loved her dogs, Dozer and Chardy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence M. Stell, and mother, Lois Ann Stell. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles Danforth, sister Lauren Kollman, daughter Joan Krein (husband Joseph), son John Lawson (wife Kathleen), grandchildren Jack and Elliot Lawson, stepsons Kelly and Christopher Danforth, and grandchildren Brady, Quinn, Maggie, Courtney, and Christopher Danforth.
