Age 49, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007.
Sharon was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 27, 1957 and has been a resident of Dayton, Ohio for the past 47 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen & Vanie (Helton) Baker.
She is survived by her son, Darren Jay Abrams; grandson, Destin Andrew Abrams; close friend, Jill Parrett; three sisters, Paulette & Ronald Vaughn, Debra & Chuck Issacs and Vickie & Keith Vance; five brothers, Darriel & Margaret Baker, Ron Baker, Mike & Linda Baker, Steve Baker, and Tim & Cammie Baker. She also leaves nine loving nieces & 11 nephews and a host of great nieces & nephews and other relatives & friends.
Sharon was a very special person, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all that knew her. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the nurses and caregivers of Hospitality Homes, East of Xenia and to Hospice VITAS. Thank you for your love and care for our sister.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
