Sharon Lee Burden, age 71 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born December 14, 1951 in Hillsdale, Michigan the daughter of Harry and Leoma McPeek.
Sharon worked at Kettering Hospital in various roles and owned and operated Unlimited Interiors for several years. She enjoyed traveling, baking, shopping and spending time with her family. Sharon was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and dear friend, Joyce Repert.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 44 years, Don; son, Douglas (Kimberly) Burden; grandchildren, Kaley Burden and Drevin Jordan; brothers, Ray "Butch" McPeek, Jack McPeek and Steve McPeek; sister-in-law, Suzanne (Jay) Tillman; Toni Reed and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Sharon's honor.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2:00pm to 3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life held at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
