Shannon R. Bender

BENDER, Shannon R., age 34, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009. She was born August 6, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by her son, John D. Sycks; her mother, Kathy Pettit; two sisters, Rhonda Ritchie and Angela Martin; brother, Terry Pettit; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Alta Riley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arlie Riley; maternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Fields; step-father, Lenvil Pettit. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Byron Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Rest in peace, we love you.
