Shannon G. Wells, age 89, of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 3, 2021 . He was born September 20, 1931 in Wilmore, Kentucky son of the late Claton Wells and Ruth Debolt.
In addition to his parents, Shannon was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Wells; daughter, Sharon J.; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Shannon is survived by his sons, Shannon E. (Beverly) and Jonathan A. (Tobi); grandchildren, Christina, Stephanie, Shannon J., Paige, and Taylor; great granddaughter's, Gemma and Nairobi; sister, Judy; step brother, Rusty; step sister, Jackie; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Shannon's honor to Hospice of Dayton.
