Shane Poe, age 43, of Xenia, passed away June 17, 2023. Shane was born in Richmond, Kentucky on December 6, 1979 to Marvin and Rebecca Poe.
Shane is preceded in death by his father, Marvin; grandparents, Shelby and Oreda Dunn; and his aunt, Ruth Hager.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristina Poe; daughter, Kadence Poe; mother, Becky Poe; and many other loving family members and friends.
In his early life, Shane was a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting and playing with his daughter and his dogs.
Shane was a kind soul and was very loving. He was down to earth, easy-going and he prided being a country boy.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. Shane will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.
