Shane L.A. Miles

Miles, Shane L.A., SSgt, age 26, of Xenia, passed away February 19, 2007. He was born June 27, 1980 in Xenia, OH. Shane was veteran of Iraqi Freedom and was currently based at WPAFB with the Security Forces Squadron. He was a proud and loving father of two daughters, Kaylee Anne Rose Miles and Annabella Leah Sahey. He is also survived by his mother, Sandra (William) Malone of Wilmington; his father, Larry (Margie) Miles of Xenia; one sister, Marie Miles; half brother, Bryce; maternal grandfather, Charles Walker of Xenia; paternal grandfather, Floyd Miles of Xenia; very special Aunt, Carolyn Fernallad of Colorado; two step-brothers and two step-sisters; special companion and girlfriend, Holly Parkman; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Haines; paternal grandmother, Lois Miles; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Lois Houser. Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Joshua Narrowe officiating.
