Shana Renee Tibbs Jones

Shana Renee Tibbs Jones, age 40, of Dayton, passed away on June 2, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1982 to Sandra Bowles and Larry Tibbs.

She loved her children and was a very devoted mother and wife. She was a very active member of The Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Dabel 3031. Shana was passionate and had a kind heart. She also had a fierce mind, was authentically honest, and had a brave spirit. Shana had a personality that was taller than her and was a powerful force. She was a beautiful firecracker, and her love and spirit will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Tibbs; her brothers, Bryon Tibbs, Timmy Bowles Tony Bowles, and Bobby Lawson; her second father, Ronald Bowles; Granny Moo; Grandma Pat; Nonna Neiswender; Grandpa Bob; and Nana Jennifer Clark.

She will be remembered by her husband, Stephen Jones; her children: Matthew Horner and Lauryn Jones; her mother, Sandra Bowles; her brothers, Shane Tibbs, Tony Tibbs, Caleb Bowles and Ryan Bowles; her sisters, Melinda Leistner, Lacey Bowles, Olivia Bowles and Taylor Bowles; her aunt Kim (Jeff) Larosa; uncle Bill (Marilyn) Brown; aunt Toni Youngman; uncle Jeff Neiswender; her grandpa William Brown; her parents-in-law, Jim & Donna Jones; sister-in-law, Leslie (Nick) Petro; special cousins, Brittany Blackford, Brooke Blackford, and Jamie Blackford; special friend and uncle, Michael "Porky" Wilson; special niece, Carmen Tibbs; her second kids, Payton & Makenna Shannon and Jordyn Jones; special friends: Bryan Henry and Casey Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00pm.
