Shakuntla Devi Gupta was born in Majra, HP India on March 2nd, 1926, to Molar Mal Gupta and Gomati Devi Gupta as the youngest of five children. In February 1945 he married Raja Ram Gupta and was happily married for 67 years. She had five children - Vijay K. Gupta, Late Om P. Gupta, Lalit K. Gupta, Kusum Gupta, and Chander S. Gupta.
She was a house wife. She was a simple, noble, and hard working person. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She is survived by her four children, and nine grandchildren and one great grandchildren
She will be deeply missed by all and will remain in our heart and memories forever.
