Sennie B. Taylor, 92 of Dayton, Ohio departed this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones at home.
She was born on February 24, 1927 to George and Minnie (Lockhart) Blount in Electra, Alabama. Sennie was the youngest of 12 siblings.
She married Robert H. Taylor and had four children. After graduating from Dunbar High School, Sennie became a Licensed Cosmetologist. She also earned her Nursing Degree (LPN) at Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She attended Sinclair Community College and worked at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Sennie worked and retired from Miami Valley Hospital.
Sennie gave her life over to the Lord and chose to spread his word. While in service to the Lord, she opened her home to MR individuals for 15 years; she shared her wisdom and changed lives. Sennie was also the founder and Bishop of the True Believers of the Trinity Church. Sennie loved the Lord and enjoyed raising her children.
After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed playing cards (cheating most of the time) and laughing about it with her grown children and drinking a glass of wine.
Sennie leaves behind her loving daughters, Ann Taylor, Deborah Taylor-Jones and Sherri Taylor; grandchildren, Myron (Casey) Taylor, Michael (Tia) Taylor, Charles Taylor, Alishia Wood, Scherrie Coleman, Robert (Shante) Taylor III and Italy Taylor; 32 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, and a host of many other loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
Sennie was preceded in death by her loving son Robert Taylor II and her loving parents George and Minnie Blount.
