Scott R. Eisenhut

Scott Richard Eisenhut was born August 9, 1967 and passed away August 5,2012. Scotty was raised on the family farm in Jamestown with his sister Kerry, graduating from Greeneview High School in 1986, where he developed many lasting friendships, excelled at soccer and received a scholarship to play at Wright State University. Scotty enjoyed life and inherited an Irish personality which created a friend to all he came in contact with. He enjoyed his career and coworkers in the Surgical Department at Kettering Health Network. His two rescued cats, Ryley and Dancer, brought joy to his life. But more than anything, he loved his nephews and niece, Lance, Luke and Tori, and they loved their "Genie", a nickname they bestowed upon him.

A hollow place has been carved in our hearts that can never be filled.

He is survived by his father Todd and his wife Karen Eisenhut, his mother Sandy Eisenhut and her husband Jim Daugherty, his sister Kerry and special brother-in-law Tommy Kielbaso, two step-brothers, Steve and Kristi Daugherty and Jimmy and Jinnifer Daugherty, and special nieces and nephews, Bryson, Tyler, Wyatt, Jacob, Eli, Ian, Anna, and Emma. He was also survived by special Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Dayton, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He was preceded in death by special grandparents, Jean and Bernie Farley, and Idamae and Warren Eisenhut. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012, 2 to 4 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. where a Funeral Service will follow at 4:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Dayton in Scott's memory.
