Scott Michael Ash

December 3, 1964 — April 24, 2020

Scott Michael Ash, age 55 of Sugarcreek Township, passed away suddenly Friday, April 24, 2020 at home. He was born December 3, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jerome and Mary Ash.

Scott proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. In his civilian capacity he continued to work for the Air Force as a photographer, even traveling with the Chief of Staff for 10 years. Most recently he worked at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Public Affairs office.

If the measure of a man is in the lives he's touched, then Scott was one of the greatest. He blessed his family and friends with immense generosity, compassion, humor and creativity; and enriched the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. His selflessness was beyond compare...a true unsung hero. He will be greatly missed.

Scott is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Lisa; his mother; his sister, Lynnette (Randy) Dunn; sister-in-law, Ruth Juechter; brothers-in-law, Dan (Susan) Juechter, Adam (Christine) Juechter & Andrew Juechter; father-in-law, Kenneth (Kay) Juechter; mother-in-law, Barbara (Victor) Dominski; nieces & nephews, Tristan, Morgan, David, Dianna, Jack, Leah, & Kyle; and many other loving friends & family members.

He is preceded in death by his father.
