Saundra L. Zapatony, age 73, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023.
She was born in Readville, MA on February 25, 1949 to the late Talmadge & Julia Stephens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, William Fisher.
Saundra is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph M. Zapatony Jr.; children, Tara (Patrick) Clouse, Heather (Josh) Fisher and Jason Zapatony; grandchildren, Kade and Kai Clouse, Zoe and Brooklyn Zapatony, Hayley, Tabitha, Samantha, Noah and Ninian Fisher; great-grandchildren, Lily, Wyatt and Myles Fisher; siblings, Dale Gearing, Steve Stephens and Cindy Lewis; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Zapatony; brother-in-law, Edward (Gail) Zapatony; and many other relatives and friends.
Saundra was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her jokes and sarcasm. Saundra will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Saundra's memory to The Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 29th from 2-6 pm at the VFW Post# 3283, 5074 Nebraska Ave, Dayton, OH 45424.
