Sarilda Frances Farley, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was born January 5, 1956 in Richlands, Virginia, the daughter of the late Grady and Martha Thompson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Margie Lipscomb; nephews, Jacob Redavide and Jesse Redavide; and great nephew, Julian Redavide.
Sarilda is survived by her children, Emma (Tim) Henderson, Grady (Jessica) Farley, Martha Hawkins; grandchildren, Emmaly, T.J., Ryan, Terry and Colton Henderson, Lucas II, Marissa, Madison, Levi, Makayla and Leelynd Hawkins, Grady Jr. and Caley Farley, Jacob Sivils and Jamie Stuart; great grandchildren, Jase, Joshua and Jenna Henderson; siblings, Nancy (Dino) Redavide and Joseph Thompson; special nephews, Joey and Joshua Redavide; as well as numerous other loving nieces and nephews.
Sarilda was employed at P.T.I. and medically retired after 30 years. She loved going to church at Pentecostal House of Refuge where the pastors are Mike and Michelle Enix. She enjoyed spending time with her church family. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her own family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Willow View Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
