We celebrate the extraordinary life of Sarah Wren Cronenwett, age 34 of Dayton who passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024. Sarah is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dale and Judith Cronenwett.
Sarah was born August 25, 1990 in Kettering, Ohio. A woman who, though her time with us was far too short, left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Sarah is survived by her beloved husband of 13 years, Austin Wren; eight children, Adrian, Julian, Scarlett, Declan, Madalyn, Magnolia, Palmer, and Harlan; her parents, Kevin and Gina Cronenwett; seven siblings, Dustin, Megan, Casey, Bobbie, Brady, Ava, and Evie; her grandparents, Bob (Lucille) Rankin; father-in-law, Scott (Tawnya) Wren; mother-in-law, Amy Hawkins; two sister-in-laws, Cheyenne Wren and Kristen Cook; brother-in-law, Jacob Wren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Sarah was a woman of many roles: a devoted wife, a loving mother, a talented photographer, and a beacon of light to her family and friends. As a wife to Austin, she embodied partnership, love, and commitment. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. As a mother to eight amazing children, Sarah’s greatest pride was in their joy and growth. She poured every ounce of herself into nurturing and guiding them, ensuring they knew they were loved unconditionally.
As a photographer, Sarah had the gift of capturing life's beauty, both big and small. Through her lens, she preserved moments that will now serve as cherished memories for all who knew her. Her creativity extended beyond her craft, shaping the way she approached life—with humor, charisma, and a knack for finding light even in the darkest times.
Sarah's journey, like any, had its ups and downs, but her determination to rise above and do her best for her family was unwavering. She was a sister, a cousin, a granddaughter, and a daughter who brought warmth and laughter into every room she entered. Her quick wit and magnetic personality drew people to her, making her a friend to many and a source of comfort and joy to all who were lucky enough to know her.
Her life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and meaning. While we grieve the loss of Sarah, we also celebrate the legacy she leaves behind: her beautiful children, her devoted husband, and the countless memories of her vibrant spirit.
Sarah taught us to cherish every moment, to laugh often, and to love deeply. As we say goodbye, let us honor her memory by living our lives with the same passion, humor, and heart that she so generously shared with the world.
Rest peacefully, Sarah. You will be forever missed and forever loved.
