Sarah Johnson, age 26 of Kettering, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Kettering. She was born November 14, 1994 in Dayton, OH to Dennis Johnson and Lisa Sparks.
Left to cherish Sarah's memory are her son, Avery Alan Johnson; father, Dennis (Vicki) Johnson; sister, Christina Hoctor; step-brother, Vernon Milby; step-sister, Alicia Henry; grandmother, Shirley Denton; uncle, Larry Sparks; and several other relatives and friends.
Sarah was very outgoing and friendly. She was a 2014 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High school. She loved spending time with her son, Avery, reading, and spending time with her friends. Most of all, Sarah enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Sparks; and uncle, Jimmy Sparks.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek) where a funeral service celebrating Sarah's life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
