Sarah Sondra Johnson

Sarah Sondra Johnson, age 80 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born November 25, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Alpha Tipton and two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Tipton.
Sarah is survived by her sister, Nancy Hyatt and numerous family and friends.
She was longtime member of The Order of the Eastern Stars. Sara worked for Elder Beerman's for many years and later became a manager of Hallmark Card Store. She loved to crochet and play Bingo. Sara will be deeply missed.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Sarah's memory.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time. Sarah will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery (118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409).
