Sara A. Mooney

Sara A. Mooney, age 75, of Huber Heights, was reunited with her husband of 57 years, Ronald and her daughter, Pennie in Heaven on August 24, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1948 to the late Jack & Evelyn Davis. 

In addition to her parents, her husband and her daughter, Sara was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lowe.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Ronald “Dean” Mooney; her siblings: Jim (Amy) Davis, Rhonda (Mark) Nagel; grandchildren: Zach (Autumn) Roberds, Sierra Maiden; great-grandchildren: Zachary Jr., Bentley & Cassidy Roberds; best friend & bonus sister, Rosetta Knight; and her cat, Moo Moo; and many nieces, nephews, more family and friends.

Sara graduated from Northridge High School, Class of ’67. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a kind and gentle soul, and she always thought of others first. Sara reflected this love of others as a healthcare worker as well, and she always found herself helping others or taking care of them. She was always positive and was quick with a lending hand.

Most of all, Sara loved her family, and her grandchildren & great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. Her love and joyous spirit will be dearly missed by everyone.

Sara will be laid to rest with her husband, Ronald, at Forest Hills at a later date. Please check back for more details.
