Sara Jane Weimer

WEIMER, Sara Jane age 76 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2008 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Anna Cassady, her brother Harold Cassady and her sister AnnEtta Cassady. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Kenneth Weimer, son Bruce and wife Jennifer Weimer, daughter Darlene Weimer; step-son Richard Weimer; grandchildren Jesse, Jerrid, Gradon, Ashley and Amber; brother Robert and Francis Cassady; and a host of other relatives and friends. Sara retired from Dayton Daily News Call Center after 17 years and over 35 years of service as a carrier. Sara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Daniel Sietman officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Willow View Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Newcomer Funeral Home in memory of Sara.
