Saphronia Jones

JONES, Saphronia "Judy" age 78, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Kettering Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Arthur Jones Jr.; sons, Robert K. (Pam) Phillips, John R. Phillips; daughters, Carolyn Sue (Bob Beam) Napier, Sandra Jean (Roger) Thomas, Charlotte Jane (James) Lynch; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother Marple (Crystal) Fannin; special friends, Catherine and Susan Peterie. She was preceded in death by her father, John Fannin; mother, Lula Petry; brothers, Lowell and Chester Fannin; sister, Leona Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the owner and operator of Judy's Family Restaurant in Xenia, OH for several years. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Services will be 1 PM Friday, January 23, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.
