Sandy M. Mclemore

Sandra Marie McLemore, age 73, of Waynesville, OH passed away after an extended illness on November 3, 2019. Sandy was born on February 1, 1946 in Dayton, OH. She was the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Kauffman) Setters. On April 15, 1967, she married the love of her life, James Arnold McLemore, in Dayton, OH.

The greatest love and joy in Sandy's life was being a homemaker and caring for her family. As a result, Sandy knew her way around the kitchen and was a great cook. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family by attending family reunions and celebrating special family events. She also spent countless hours playing cards with her friends, neighbors and her brothers. One of Sandy's favorite past times was fishing and over the years, her and Arnold would share many happy times taking fishing trips together.

Along with her husband Arnold, Sandy is survived by her loving Sons, Eddie "Lucky" McLemore of Riverside, OH, Michael McLemore of Riverside, OH and James (Tina) McLemore of Springfield, OH; Brother, Larry (Jo) Setters of Huber Heights, OH; sister-in-law, Jean Setters of Harrison Township, OH; Sandy also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Setters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions located at 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio. A funeral service will follow on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10:30 am at Newcomers. Sandy will be interred in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
