Sandy Mcclelland

Sandra L. (Evers) McClelland, age 70 of Dayton, formerly of Wilmington, passed away April 10, 2013. She was born July 8, 1942 in Dayton to the late Elmer and Ellen Evers. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Gary "Dutch" McClelland; and brothers: Gene and Donald Evers.

Sandy is survived by her daughters: Kathryn Hicks Gibson (Reggie), Donna Lynne Hicks (Douglas Maddy) and Theresa Hicks Olah (Kevin Baker); step-children: Steve McClelland and Stephanie McClelland; 8 grandchildren, including Justin and Katie Stechenfinger whom Sandy and Dutch raised; 2 step-grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Margaret Risko (Joe) and Carolyn Tilton; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Sandy was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post # 49 in Wilmington and the Dayton Democratic Club.
