Sandy Harrison

Sandra D. Harrison "Sandy", age 74 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 to be with her Lord. Sandy was born on January 17, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Herschel Harrison and Loys Harrison.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Loys Harrison; brother, William E. Harrison; son, Kevin Herschel Harrison and best friend and pet, Dudley.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Ellis; special cousin, Eileen Frantz; nieces and nephews, Bryan (Janet) Ellis of Dayton, Craig (Susan) Ellis of Englewood, Daryl (Amber) Ellis of Virginia, C. Scott (Dawn) Harrison of York, PA and Donna (Chad) Kinard of York, PA; 14 great nieces and nephews; "adopted daughter", Becky (John) Ellis and her friends at Park Manor and Mad River Manor.

Sandy graduated from Colonel White High School in 1963. She worked for Krogers, Kindercare and was a bus aide and school bus driver for Mad River Township. She also drove for MTI and Whiteworth Charter Companies, retiring in 1995.

Sandy loved spending time with family and friends; also, kids and pets.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial at Willow View Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Dayton, autismsocietyofdayton.org or to the Hospice of Dayton.
