Sandra A. Rose

Sandra Ann Rose passed away on May 9, 2023. Preceding her in death were her parents Raymond Dale Rose & Annie Bartholonaus Rose, and her sister Helen Rose.

She is survived by her cousin Shirley Folger. Sandy was born on May 4, 1947, to Raymond Dale Rose and Annie Bartholonaus Rose in Dayton, Ohio.

Sandy graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1965 and attended College for a couple of years. Sandy was born with several physical challenges. Enough that her doctor did not think she would live past 6 weeks, through the care of her family and the doctors she lived a long life. She even got her driver's license. She loved to see the ocean and was fortunate to have relatives in New Jersey near the ocean who they visited often. Over time additional physical challenges came into her life which made driving no longer possible. Her eyesight was diminished to the point where she needed a magnifying glass to read. One could find her with a bible in her lap examining the pages and getting better acquainted with her Lord. Arthritis in her hips and knees eventually limited her to a wheelchair to get around. She was a member of Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Jacob Eby chapter of the Eastern Star. Her favorite Bible passages are 23rd Psalm, Revelation 22:4-5, Matthew 18:20, and the Lord's Prayer. Her favorite hymns are The Church has One Foundation and I Love to Tell the Story.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at David's Cemetery Chapel (4600 Mad River Road, Kettering, OH 45429). Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in David's Cemetery.
