Sandra Lee Mumford, age 75, of Vandalia, passed away on October 1, 2022. She was born on October 29, 1946 to the late Charles and Virginia Michel.
She was a very compassionate and unconditionally caring mother. She always had an open door for the love of her family members and those in need. She loved her grandchildren unconditionally and was very proud of them. Her kindness and her love will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Mumford; and her son, Charles Eddie Michel.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Deborah L. Michel and Rodney E. Lacey; grandchildren: Chad & Brett with their mother Dana Michel, and Matthew & Autumn; great-grandchildren: Skylar and Eddie James; sister, Charlene Arndts; close family, Jerry Marsh and Sherry (Denny) Laycox; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Newcome North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service, Sandra will be laid to rest with her husband at Calvary Cemetery.
